Who was he influenced from? I'm sure he had a lot of classical music lying around at Musonia, but were there any composers who particularly influenced him?

Bach is a definite yes. That's a great question. I would like to know what classical guitarists he enjoyed and what pieces he loved to play.

I remember UFO's Paul Chapman mentioning that he heard Randy playing his classical guitar backstage. He was playing the Stanley Myers's classic "Cavatina" (also known as "He Was Beautiful"), performed by classical guitarist John Williams for the 'Deer Hunter' film. A beautiful tune and one which would of sounded well nice coming from Randy's fingers.
