These were supposed to be on the new box set,
This is great news. But I'm wondering why the "Live In Southampton" 1980 CD that was pictured in the original photo of the boxset was pulled, along with the following bonus tracks that were originally listed - from Diary: 9.Tonight (Long Version, Previously Unreleased) (6:09) 10.You Can’t Kill Rock And Roll (Long Version, Previously Unreleased) (7:11) 11.Diary Of A Madman (2010 Remix, Previously Unreleased) and from Blizzard: 12. Revelation (Mother Earth) (Previously Unreleased Version) (7:23). Were these removed to be added as bonus tracks for certain retailers or countries, or are they not being included anywhere, or being saved for another release? Also, no 1980 "Live EP" tracks from Southampton, including "You Said It All"?
Anyone know where these are? And Why they are/were pulled? And is the footage from the 30 years after the blizzard the same clips they showed on the TV special on VH1? Or do you get the full 30 minutes un-interupted?
I am confused as to getting this set or not. Really wanted to hear the remix of diary and the entended solo for tonight without the fade, to me thats the best RR solo.
Anyone have "Tonight" with extended solo?

I'm almost positive they didn't release the Southampton show because it features Bob and Lee. While they can't sue over BOO and DOAM, they would be able to sue over that show.
I'm not certain about the other things, but if I were to take a guess, it'd be that the courts would see these releases as being something different than what Bob and Lee sued over. Technically the same, but different. It may have spooked the Osbournes from releasing them because of that.
Just a guess.

Back in May, another member here made a pretty astute observation as to why the material was pulled, and it seemed like an agreeable theory to me.

Whenever I put on Blizzard or Diary, what a wonderful, delicate furious beast.... I MISS you, man!
