Thanks To The Members!

Well, I just finished watching all of the Palladium footage. I started watching it on the big screen TV, but decided to take it up to the computer. It was much more enjoyable here.

I basically wanted to thank all the members here who have stuck it out (some even 30 Years!) and kept the legacy of Randy Rhoads alive. It's places like this which let the forces that be know that there is an interest in material like this. All the forum staff and people Like Dave and Shaun who's posts I love reading so much. It's you guys that keep contributing here and .tk to discuss our hero and show that there is a genuine fan base who would appreciate this stuff. I owe it to you guys for keeping the flame burning, because if it seems like there is no interest, nothing would happen.

I loved the footage and feel incredibly grateful that it was released. I honestly thought I would never see anything like it. While the Mr. Crowley solo was great, the highlight of the show for me was seeing Randy play the solo for Revelation. When the Reel cut into it, I had a grin on my face ear to ear, and it honestly made me feel so happy seeing it being played, it was just amazing.

I know that some people have been, not necessarily complaining, but have been disappointed with the footage. I know it's 8mm, I know it cuts out before some solo's, I know it shows a lot of Rudy and Ozzy. But I for one thoroughly enjoyed it and in my opinion is the best footage of Randy and the band out there.

I was going to post this in a current thread, but I felt that it deserved it's own topic for other members to say thanks to the blokes who have dedicated so much time and energy into this community and sharing their knowledge of the legend that is Randy Rhoads!

It is great to finally have new material of Randy. I had abunch of guys over for a viewing Saturday nite. They loved it.

This site is great, but there are some people who want to know absolutely everything possible about Randy, right down to what laundry soap he preferred.
