dumb question about avatars

how the heck do I put an avatar on my profile? any help would be most appreicated.

Click on UCP at the top of the screen. Its under Randy playing his Les Paul. Then click on profile. Its on the left hand side of the screen under options. Then click on edit avatar. You should be good to go from there. Its pretty self explanatory.
