Blizzard of Ozz with 'remastered' pictures! (no Lee or Bob)

Just recieved Blizzard of Ozz cd and it comes in a normal cdbox, no digipack.
I compared it with the 1995 remaster and the booklet is different, this time different pictures, no more bandpicture with Lee and Bob. Just Ozzy and Randy, except for the live backcover, where they almost faded out Bob and brought Ozzy and Randy to the front...
So Kerslake and Daisley are not completely back!
But the remaster is great and that's what counts, also "You looking at me, looking at you" has no cowbell, it's the best version from "The other side of Ozzy" compilation (1984).
I expect DOA one of the next days....

Really? The version on the Box set does have the cowbell.

It has cowbell. It is just very quiet.

doesn't surprise me. And this had nothing to do with this being an "ozzy and randy" release. It's a celebration of the 2 albums. Bob and Lee were there. They should be pictured, not to mention spoke to for the documentary.
I've learned to dislike people who try to erase history. Vince McMahon is another one (be it in another entertainment industry...) who plays with past + history as well.

It's sad that inside the book from the box set there isn't a single pic of Bob and Lee...not even in the background on stage or anything, in fact there's a pic of Ozzy and Randy on a small stage and there is a line (supposed to look like old film) that covers and black out Lee's face. It's very obvious that they went to lengths to make sure Bob and Lee got no attention. Inside the Diary vinyl it's listed as Rudy and Tommy....

If I'm nof mistaken the original DOAM lists Tommy and Rudy too and the pics of them.

Yep, Bob and Lee had to fight to get their names credited.

That's what I thought.

It's odd that the Osbournes would choose to leave the inner sleeve for Diary the exact same with the Disney stairs pic./credits.
I know the remainder of the fight from Bob is/was over thre performance credits and I would imagine at this point Tommy and Rudy might be somewhat embarrased still having their names on there, as by now, everyone knows they didn't play on it. (and you know they're most certainly not receiving any royalties from it, either!)
Odder still the comment from Max in GW, regarding Sharon and Don being angry with him, when in '81 he was asked to replace Daisley & Kerslake's tracks with Sarzo & Aldridge's, but it wasn't possible to do, as there was no click track.
That comment is news to me, and I guess it's plain to see why he wasn't asked to take part in their documentary.
Max has ZERO to gain by lying.
So basically Sharon has carried this idea of replacing the bass and drum tracks around in her head for two decades, and idea that is older than Aimee.
That has to be the oddest of them all...

Today Diary came in...
Although I do not like digipacks, this one is well done with lots of extra pictures on both inside covers and booklet. I noticed that there weren't pictures of Bob and Lee in the 1995 remaster, so obvious that didn't change.
In the 1995 edition the complete band got mentioned in the booklet, including Bob & Lee, where as now there is no band!? The only thing there is: "produced by Max Norman, Ozzy Osbourne, Randy Rhoads, engineered by Max Norman. Recorded at Ridge Farm Studios.
even STRINGS on "Diary of a Madman" arranged by Louis Clark...
BUT NO ONE PLAYED BASS OR DRUMS on the album!
The live cd states of course the whole band with Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge.
It was recorded on the Blizzard of Ozz tour.
Reissue credits:
Executive producer (

eraser of B & L): Sharon Osbourne
Produced by Mark Neuman and Bruce Dickinson
Mastered at Sterling Sound by George Marino

Yeah, basically all of those songs on BOO and Diary were written by Ozzy and Randy. The rest of the "help" was just a few random studio blokes. lol.
My goodness...

He didn't write lyrics, but he wrote the vocal melodies. Bob has said that for years.
