Im sure some of you here know that the begining of Diary of a madman is actually a classical piece written by a classical guitarist. For years I thought Randy wrote that until I talked with a classical guitarist who was telling me that he had learned the piece years ago. But I cant remember the guys name, I want to say Leo......something, so I guess this was the piece Randy was working on when Ozzy burst into the room and said we are stealing that lol. And he did lol. Anyone remember the classical guitarist's name.

Nevermind I found it, this a blerb from the net: His name is Leo Brouwer
The sixth of his Etudes Simples was quoted by heavy metal guitarist Randy Rhoads
(when he was working with Ozzy Osbourne) as the introduction to the song "Diary of a Madman
Here is the piece from youtube

thats so cool. leave it to Randy to steal from an obscure classical piece - and improve it!. Awesome.
