My feeling is that the best stuff still has to come.
That means a documentary by the O's next year (30 years celebration of Randy's death) focused on Randy in the first place.

Things that can be used:
1) The interviews Peter did for his doc
2) The news report footage (ET, Rock Report, 2 on the Town: 3 different camera crews where filming the Diary pre-production rehearsals....)
3) That front row footage from those Arizona brothers
4) The pro-shot (St. Louis / New Jersey '81 show) mentioned by Dave Tangye
5) More (bootleg) footage unkown to us like the Texas soundcheck.......
6) The full Southampton 1980 audio show
7) The full Montreal 1981 audio show
.......?

this is the big : did Dave talked crap or not....... ?

I think the O's are more than willing to cooperate if they are requested to do so.
Maybe the box we got now can be seen as 'testing the waters'?

as much as i'd like to believe that, i think this is it. You'll never see a documentary, at least led by the Osbournes. Never happen. Only hope i see is a 3rd party, such as the Dakota film project, but i'm starting to lose faith in those type of things as well (due to all the parties that should and need to be involved, either not cooperating and/or not working "nice" together).

I sure hope this isnt IT from a release standpoint. But there is stuff.

But I do think that everything that comes out will most certainly have to go through the osbournes. SAD.

Randy's family are the only ones who can put out what we all want. But again it will have to be in cooperation with the O's.

Hearing filmed interview segments from Bob, Lee, Max, Rudy, Tommy, and Don would suffice. Plus maybe some QR clean footage and interviews would be cool. Outside that, band members and family will matter most.

A total Randy box would be cool.

Include the 2 QR records (restored and remastered)
DVD of QR club footage
Any Mr. Garni stuff (pics or audio)
Southampton CD
Raw Track stems from BOO and Diary
The brothers footage possibly synced up as close as possible
The footage Dave T said exists????
Footage Wareagle said Bill Shelley had????
ET Footage
Bob's grail audio from the BOO writing sessions

Now THAT is something I would have no problem dropping coin for. Only thing missing would be the interviews from the documentary that is never going to see the light of day

I'd pay for that. LOTS of money for that. Too bad it will never happen. But I would pay DEARLY for a set that included all of that.
