This cannot be the original item for sure ?... Bob Daisley's platinium award for Blizzard of Ozz ?. If it is, would Bob of giving this away or sold it ?.

He may want to as his british and american ones probabley get pride place on the mantle also it is the 30th for the album so good time to flog it, if it is him i say good on him.

He may have sold it a long time ago since it was presented to him in October 1981. btw this is for the Blizzard of Ozz album, not Diary. And like Jazznroll said, since this is the Canadian one he may only own a few like the US and British ones?
Or we could all be wrong and it could be just a very well done fake, but I doubt it. If you're into these than this would certainly be a good buy.

I use to make those at a place I worked for over a decade ago (it was cool because I have a few LP promtional copies of other bands). They would usually make a few of them for the artist and exec's. I'm guessing this is just one of the copies that an exec is trying to pawn off of a family member of a passed exec. Most trophy makers could do a copy of that as well.

That is the platinum award disc for 'Blizzard of Ozz' that I was supposed to receive from Canada but didn't. I got all the others from the US and Canada but not that one for some reason. It's rightfully mine and no one else has the right to sell it and make money from it. I would never sell, give away or part with any of my award discs. I'd like to know who is selling this and how they got it. If anyone can help, I'd be most appreciative. Cheers Bob.

Well if it isn't a copy, Bob sounds a bit sick that someone is cashing in on something that should be his. I smelt a rat when i seen this, if it was mine i'd be wondering how it had escaped me and how i never got it presented to me ?. Lets hope Bob gets some response from this seller.

Hopefully he does. If he had sold it a while ago and now regretted it, it'd be a different story. But since he said that he never received it in the first place I don't blame him for being pissed about someone making money something that was technically stolen.

Why should Bob bid on something that he rightfully earned and should have been delivered to him?
If someone were to make a counterfeit or copy, wouldn't you think they would have used Ozzy's name instead?
At any rate, I reported it to ebay as stolen, for whatever good that will do.

how do you know that he wont bid on it. maybe he realizes thats probably the only way he'll get it back
