Nice cover shot, it reminds me of the 1982 November issue of Guitar Player. They should of released this before the Ozzy box set was due for release. It would of made a better promo mag for us RR fans.

Yeah but we always get this magazine about 4-6 weeks later then the USA.

we (in new zealand) get them as air freight ones roughly the same time as the US, but the are nearly twice the price..but if we wait a month then they are normal price

GW tends to run mainly Ross Halfin shots. This one here on the cover was the poster from a few years back.

This issue isn't out yet, this is going to be the June issue, which means it is on the stands in July. San Dimas Charvel over at TK asked GW about this:

Spoke to Ed in Chief of GW Brad T. Cool guy. Said BOO 30th will be cover of next issue! He said that when they stated it was going to be the feature in June issue, they meant the issue that was to be on the stands in June, which is the July issue.

I thought this myself when it was first announced, as I couldn't see GW doing a feature on something that hadn't been released yet...they'd more or less be spilling the beans on something that no one had.

I always get this every month, love the mag. I live in the UK and Iell get this issue probs first week of june. Just had my last issue with the 40th ann of the doors. Really looking forward to this one though.

Seems like subscribers get theirs the same as the newsstands, regardless where they live, as I was at B&N here in the US just last week, and the Doors issue was there.
