Well this was written in the 1985 Official Ozzy Biography "Diary of a Madman"
written by Mick Wall (whom in the 7 ages of rock RR segment says Ozzy & sharon were outside & watched the Plane hit the Bus  ) But its OFFICIAL ??

Anyhow this was Written about the Runes on the Speak of the Devil Cover
Ive looked a number of times but couldnt find the Start/end that way I could write RR in theese Runes on the Cover.I also cant find a pic of the Gatefold (& my records are in storage) so if someone could post the Pic that'd be cool!
AnyHow Heres the Info for those who dont now i think youll enjoy this

Excerpt from Diary of a Madman 1985
"Once again it was Steve Joule who designed Ozzys latest album sleeve, only this time, unlikethe 'meaningless bullshit' squiggles that adourned Diary of a Madmansleeve, the writing, wjich turns out on closer inspection to be runes (as used in J.R.R Tolkiens's literary masterpiece,Lord of the Rings),contains a definite message.
As Steve Joule explaines; After all the uproar about Ozzy's So-Called career as a Devil Worshipper, particularly fromthe media in America, I thought Id really go to town this time withsome more "hidden meanings" for the press to hunt for.Exceptwith a Funny Twist.
The Runes that surround Ozzy on the front of Talk/Speak of the Devilactually spell; Howdy. Dial-a-Demon Productions in Conjunction with graveyard graphcs, proudly presents the madman of rock dumpingin El Satanos Toilettio, real tast

Open the Sleeve out & you find Ozzystill writhing madly in his thrown,at his feet squats little Ronnie the Dwarf, and just out of shot Ozzy is holding a giant metallic cross, itsmassive head glinting in harsh reflected light.More runes and another message unravel along the red & gold border. This time the words are serious;A Tribute to Randy Rhoads, axeman."that kid was my lifeline,y'know? He was such a Dynamic player and I'd rather not talk about it anymore because it cuts me up every day of my life'Randy Rhoads Rest in Peace& love.'Originally you see,I was under the impression that Speak of the devil was definatly going to be a Live Tru=ibute to Randy Rhoads, says SteveJoulenow.'Hence the writing I included around the middle picture
on the back circle around the picture of the band it simply says Ozzy Osbourne Rock & Roll Madman & the Squiggles at the bottom say "No Hidden Messages""
