These are from the Leesburg newspapers from 32 years ago. These bring home the sad news that announced Randy's death. A couple of days after the accident as the news filtered out and more newspapers featured the story.

This was something that happened a few days after the fatal accident. Suing for millions read on....

I never knew that there were so many photos taken that day and that ozzy or sharon wanted 25mil for a terrible accident.

Thanks so much for those high res clippings Idol !! That's actually the first I ever heard of that lawsuit. Does anyone know what the outcome of the lawsuit was?

Likewise Ian, I really would've thought that 30 years later, it would just be us old farts carrying the torch, but I'm simply amazed by how there seems to be just as many young people doing so today. There were hardly any young people into Hendrix when I was a teen, and that was only a decade after his death.

Delores Rhoads was part of that suit, too. Everyone jumps on Sharon, but there were other plaintiffs. God knows it must have been the coach company's fault! Suing them will bring Randy back! I hope they didn't get it.
