lossless in order to preserve what is on the cassette in order to properly re-master it. I've restored and remastered from cassettes for cd release before, with very good results. With some experience, engineering knowledge and patience, many things are possible. I restore vinyl records as a hobby since I decided to stop working in the music industry in order to lead a more normal life. No disrespect meant, i didn't make my intent clear in the original post, sorry. :)
