I don't know if this has been discussed or not but does anyone know what guitar Randy played on each Diary song? I know from the footage I've seen he used his white Jackson on Over The Mountain, his PDV on Mr. Crowley and Suicide Solution and his Les Paul on Crazy Train, I Don't Know, Revelation and Steal Away. But what did he play on the rest of the set? Just Curious I guess.

I was wondering about the Black Jackson because I've seen alot of concert pictures with him playing it.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Exactly!

The question is for what songs did Randy use the Black Jackson?

It looks like he is doing the tapping part of the "I don't know" solo below:

And here it looks he is doing the tapping part of "Flying High":

So he tuned his guitar a 1/2 step down for a period of time. But he also had tuned it in standard E.
If he kept the guitar 1/2 step down he would probably have used this guitar for only one song ("Flying High again"), because in OTM and Believer he always used some tremelo dives and all the other songs were in standard E.
But if he had tuned it in standard E than this guitar could be a substitute for almost all the songs he did play with his Les Paul. Maybe this was also his planning? So it would be interesting to hear what thoughts Randy had about his Black Jackon?
