Ultimate Rhoads

Hi guys!
I finally got round to do it; I ordered myself Capezio shoes, the same kinda shoes that Randy wore on stage! Mine comes as black, but I don´t mind- I´ll get another pair as well, if they´re as good as I think! Not sure if they´re expensive or not, cost me 117 euros [approx $156]...? They´re not your ordinary market shoes, so...
Anyways, I´m gonna use them on stage at least, let´s see if I´d play better! At least the idea of having shoes like Randy, is inspiring!

I think it´s a shop that´s specialises in dance-sports etc... There seems to be few other stores like this, here in Finland- I mean...
But I guess they´re available everywhere, as there´s really quite a few sites where you can get those kinda shoes... Haven´t seen them as white, or whatever the colour of Randy´s shoes really was...only as black.
I´ll post the pics when they´re here, hopefully soon!!!

Those snake-skins shoes are Kathy´s, right? They look really good too, wouldn´t mind having pair of those as well!
Damn, been listenning to BOO for 4-5 times in a row, there´s always some little details in RR´s guitarwork in there, especially Revelation [Mother Earth]!!!
It´s definitely still one of my all-time favourite records, in my top 3- I guess!!!

It's so odd that I would know about these shoes. I was a ballroom dance instructor (Patrick Swayze R.I.P.) 10 years ago. Those are the kind of shoes you wear primarily for Latin footwork. I can see why Randy wore them since they are designed for traction on smooth surfaces like a laminated stage. There's nothing worse then trying to "shape" on stage and your leg almost slips sideways. You could easily rip your pants.... just like Randy did! LOL...

Ozzy wore Capazeios too!! Lots over the years,but he wore the more (I think Ballet) styled ones w/o the heels w/thin soles.
And Yes that pic is of Kathy Rhoads wearing Randys shoes at one of the memorials.
