Fantastic photographs and as a drummer it made me think something, which cymbal did Lee use as a ride cymbal? OK i can see which one it was likely to be but it is sited so high and not a great position to make a crispo sound. To me it also explains a lot about the sound he had on the the live EP./

Great View & Quality (I Love the Grain of the film) at the Hammersmith Odeon.
I love the audio (on the Bootleg) thats the one Original band show I Really wish that was filmed As to how many other bands shows between 78 & 84 that have been filmed there.In America thats got to be the most famous Venue in the UK for Bootlegs & stuff.

In the 1st picture a guy in the Lower right is taking a Picture.If you zoom in its funny because it looks like a Modern hand held Video camera

2nd Pick Lee Kerslake is ROCKIN!! Its no wonder that he had the Nickname "Bear"
And Ozz & Randy looks very similar to the pic from 3-18-82 W/that Pose,They had the Onstage Chemestry goin on Here Too!!!!

Yoy can even see the Keyboard to the left (stage right) next to Bob & on the Bootleg you can hear the Keys alot (esp. on 3rd veres of I dont Know) Crazy Train & a Cool Extended Improve intro on Crowley.

Dave i don't think these are from the London Hammersmith show. The stage is far too small for such a big venue as the Hammersmith Odeon. I'd have to ask the photographer where these are from possibly Oxford or another gig near London ?.

When you hover over the pics on the "Songpick" page it says "The Odeon, Canterbury 21 October 1980" if thats any help?

This was the last date of the UK 1980 tour the date was postponed and eventualy happened on the 1st November '80. If you see this ticket here it has the date wrote on.
