Mr. Crowley Solos vs Tonight Solos! *update*
For me it would be the Children of the Grave Solo off Tribute. its phenomenal and I couldn't find a bootleg with a better version. So what about you guys?
****UPDATED****
I noticed that a lot of you guys were choosing either the Tonight solos or the Mr. Crowley Solos so just to have some fun with it I wanted to see if everyone on here had to choose one which would it be?

I'd have to agree on not finding a better version of that solo...just phenomenal..but for me i'd have to say the studio version of Mr.Crowley's solos just give me chills every time I hear them..Also the New Years Evil (bootleg) version of the first solo, same with the Chicago version

Definitely! Another one I have to mention is the Diary of a Madman solo, that is so fitting and I've never heard anyone on YouTube play that solo anywhere near how Randy did it!
Re: Whats your favorite Randy solo?
I agree with children of the grave aswell, every time i listen to a bootleg i look forward to it, the second part of it gets me its full of feeling even if it is simple(not that i can play it), fking love it, goodbye to romance from early 82 is good aswell.

Re: Whats your favorite Randy solo?
I must say Mr.Crowley.
The first time I heard this solo made me start to play the guitar.

Re: Whats your favorite Randy solo?
Ive been a Randy fan for 80% of my life & its funny you ask this because Over all the years,I have liked all the Solos in one way or another & almost all of the Ozzy era solos have been my favorite solo at one time or another. Its so hard to pick I could say alot about all of them.
But right at the current time FLYING HIGH is at the top!!! I heard it a few weeks ago & something inside me clicked & I ve listened to it 50 times since then,I dont know why but often I'll hear something I never Noticed & just be blown away all over again.
So hard but I'll say a few brief things
Goodbye to Romance -Is my favorite guitar solo of all time!!!The expression & recording (original obviously)
is like dying & going to heaven,Dimebags solo in Cemetary gates reminds me of the same mood/feel.
Steal away-the Neo-Classical run he does in the 2nd half is Years ahead of its time
Over the mountain--What a cool (and FAST) little scale/riff at the Intro then the Whammy stuff & putting your right hand on the neck during the pull-offs!!!!!! Way Amazing!!!
Tonight-the Tone in the main solo is like David Gilmore w/balls!!! & the outros
I can say things about EVERY song. Now QR & Ozzy Live thats a whole other list

Oh man I listened to Tonight this morning and that song is just perfect! The guitar solos are out of this world, the first time I heard that song I loved it immediately. Randy always said that album was rushed but its such a great sounding album. Kinda makes you wonder what it would have sounded like if they had all the time they wanted.
Re: Whats your favorite Randy solo?
at the moment its all the soloing in "can't kill RnR"....just loving the atmosphere of them

Another vote for "Mr. Crowley" here, with "Tonight" being a very close second place.
