Ozzy interview about Randy's death... Click Here.
Same ol' Ozzy rewriting history and making it up as he goes along, more like. This interview is big on hype and short on facts, as usual. He said he lived with Randy for 18 months to 2 years before meeting up with Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake.. Do the maths! At least he's given up saying he wrote Suicide Solution about Bon Scott, maybe he'll admit that Bob Daisley wrote the lyrics one day!DMRX wrote:Ozzy seems damn great (Understandable)& healthy as Ive ever heard him!!Same storys but always great to hear from the Horses mouth ,so to speak.![]()
And theres a clip of Ozzy from April 82!!
+1..and bob daisley wouldn't be half a "famous" as he isslobberface wrote:Highly doubt he'll ever admit that...But anyways, give the guy a break, his brain is fried like hell i'm sure and after all - without Ozzy we wouldn't have Blizzard, Diary, and Tribute to enjoy time after time...
Yeah, you've got a point but I think it took all four members of Blizzard of Ozz to create the lasting magic of Blizzard and Diary. I was disappointed because I expected to hear about the 30th Anniversary, given the title of the interview, but Ozzy hardly touched on the subject, he just waffled on about himself and told the same ol' stories. The only new thing I heard was from the interviewer when he said that 'Diary of a Madman' was named after a play by Anton Chekov and even that was made up, Chekov didn't write anything entitled 'Diary of a Madman'. At least Bob Daisley's statement, that the title came from a movie starring Vincent Price, is credible. I was hoping that this interview would shed some light on the making of Blizzard and Diary and the delay of 30th Anniversary editions... Needless to say, it didn't.slobberface wrote:Highly doubt he'll ever admit that...But anyways, give the guy a break, his brain is fried like hell i'm sure and after all - without Ozzy we wouldn't have Blizzard, Diary, and Tribute to enjoy time after time...
