Ever wonder where Randy had his stash of backup pics on stage?? Since he had no mic stand look close at the white marshall cabinet under the black head-you can see them double taped to the top cabinet. Another bit of useless info to share

Yeah they can be over looked Randy had them taped up onto his top left cab with white duct tape. That was during his time with Ozzy but he did have his picks on his mic stand during his Quiet Riot days. Check out the thread here..

And notice those picks taped to his cab in the pics, do not look like Fender tortoise shell picks. They look like Dunlops most likely.

I have seen pics from people who have a Randy pick, and they are usually Fender tortoise shell picks. It's well known that he used Fender mediums.

But again, those are grey picks...maybe Dunlops?

If they are indeed grey, I would bet they're "Herco" picks. Which was popular "back in the day". I used to use them, forgot why.... must've been because somebody I looked up to used them. ha!

I'm sure they are tortoise Fender mediums. It's just the light reflecting on the shine of them, making them look different. Those Grey Hercos flex 75's they get used by alot of Big named guitarists i know Rory Gallagher used them. So did Lemmy and Fast Eddie from Motorhead. Phil Lynott and Gary Moore back in the early 70's used them. It was the grip on them that the guitarists liked, Gene Simmons, Eddie Van Halan & Nikki Sixx still use them today.
