Theres a 2 page article on Randy Rhoads and his involvement in the Blizzard of Ozz album in the current Classic Rock magazine.
Has a decent picture of Ozzy I haven't seen but you guys will have. But take a look, its the Classic Rock special edition of "Debut Albums" cover.
Just so ya know.
Simon
P.S I haven't got the magazine by the way, just read it in the shop.

Did anyone see the Metal Hammer Ozzfest issue that just came out? The entire magazine is filled with Ozzy and there is only ONE stinking picture of Randy! The photo is of them in the studio during Blizzard. It's a common photo of Ozzy, Daisley and Randy. There are small mentions of Randy in text, but not much at all. I understand it's an "Ozzfest" issue about Ozzy, but would have appreciated a nice section on Randy. From what I've seen in the past few years now, it's either a magazine with just Ozzy or it's a magazine with just Randy. It's never about the band anymore.

Thought this was a very disappointing article. Little more than old quotes from his/her inaccurate books, regurgitated yet again to try to rewrite history. Nice picture of The Blizzard of Ozz looking relaxed and happy, taken before Sharon had any involvement with the band. Contrary to what she'd like everyone to believe, Sharon's involvement with The Blizzard of Ozz began after the band had formed and the first album had been recorded. Interesting that there's a note at the end of the article which states that the 30th Anniversary edition will be available at the end of the year. 'Guess time will tell...

Disappointing article indeed! Ozzy jabbering same old crap of how Suicide Solution about is about Bon scott- IS NOT! Sharon claiming that she immediately knew that Blizzard Of Ozz´s chemistry wasn´t right... yeah, right- like she was playing in the band anyway...

Actually I heard that Bon Scott story from an interview from '81. It make sense. Why, what do you think it's really about? ("Don't you know what it's really about?" - OZ-S.S.)

Oh yeah, the guy that wrote most of the song was writing it about Ozzy but Ozzy did start it off about Bon dying because it had just 'appened. Hey, Ozzy only has a couple memories left...
