Ultimate Rhoads

Hey man, here are those pics you asked for over at TK from that August Issue of Guitar World. They have some lame ass rule about a mod has to "approve" your post before it shows if you're new. I posted these up over there early yesterday afternoon, and they still haven't been "approved" yet.

I guess they must really be busy..

I'm thinking that this set list would of been writing out by Pete Mertons. This would of been used for his guitar change overs. As all the tracks have his choice of guitar next to it. Randy's stage list would of had the set and any notes of pyrotechnics being set off next to the tracks. I noticed 'No Bone Movies' on there i always thought this song was only ever played Live once back in 1980 ?.

Which month was this Guitar World from and who was on the cover ?.

Very good point guitaridol. I do not know of any musician that do not know what guitars for what songs they use. Over at tk Frank originally said that it did not look like Randys writing. When you look at the set list you will also notice that the red and the green writing are different. One is all upper case and the other is mixed upper and lower case. The upper case L's do look differnt between the green and red writing too.

I know that Randy's set list was wrote in red pen as i have a 10 X 8 photo of him and you can see the set list taped on the stage floor next to his 'chip pan'. I'll post it up when i get a minute.

I've just bagged one on ebay for £8.00 Is that definately Randy's black Jackson V Delores is playing ?. I thought that was one of the guitars that has never been on display since Randy died ?. Or has the magazine got it wrong ?.

Is this the set list Kelle Rhoads spoke of when they took Randy's Marshall amp head out and the set list fell out of it? I thought Kelle stated that it was written by Randy.

How does Kelle know it was his last set list ? Why would Randy write the names of all the guitar change overs on the set. He would know what guitars he'd use for those songs. It's a reminder for the guitar tech to have his guitar ready for the change over. Randy may have wrote the set out. But Pete Mertons has added the green writing. It sounds like it was inside his amphead flight case under the amp. It could of been there for a long time prior to Randy's last show. Can anyone put a time on when that set was used from when until ?.The set was prity much the same for every tour. Plus the set would be wrote out for each band member by one person more then likely a member of the crew. This would be checked to make sure non of the lists had any songs accidently missed off. I have never really noticed many set lists taped on the stage in photos etc.
