Wow! Really good, considering the old VHS copies of this! I have old tape and there´s "West Coast Try-outs", but I think it´s the complete song!

thats pretty darn awesome, makes you think, all the super 8 thats lying around holds so many moments in time, a real time capsule. Where is the original super 8 footage, im sure someone could get a better transfer of it.

Okay guys,I gotback online about a year ago & was able to find everything I had Plus like 3 QR shows I hadnt seen.Anyhow I got to lookin for this super8 footage since I got in back in 93 when I was 14 through the Mail..lol Anyway my copy is like 10th generation & I wanted a better copy.Since I couldnt find anything except the clips used in Pickin up the pieces & the Doc trailer,so being such bad quality I made my videos using my footage to share w/the RR community. This guys is like 7th generation so its Better than mine I'm gonna have a field day makin new cips w/this stuff!!

One other thing, that John muir is actuall Valley College!!! FACT
& Two,this guys footage stops right where the studio footage starts,I wonder why he didnt post that???

One more thing if you watch that Thunderbird vid its off QR DVD it has A+++ Clips of this footage. The guy who filmed it actually contacted me through you tube & Im not making promises but I may Get a Better Quality "1st to 2nd Gen Copy to Share!!!
He Told me only He & Kevin had copys so Someone at the place he got it transfered to VHS from Super8 must have bootlegged it.He said the only people with copys he thought he could trust, but thats why he had contacted me:he wondered where I got it & was shocked to find that it was On the Bootleg market ecspecially when I told him I had it since 93ish,He said he got them transfered in 83-84,I'll keep you posted.
He Also took the pics from that gig,I'll post it when I find it (it was a Poster in the Guitar FPM magazine in 93 when QRRRY came out!

I like the funky dancing chick in the Chilli cook off vid. What was it about dancing back then . People looked like pure knobs dancing like they had a well filled diaper or vertabrae trouble ?. You wanna see me really dancing HOHO !!

That would be Fantastic if you could get a 1st or 2nd gen copy!!

Speaking of dancing women, check out this AC/DC clip from Australian TV in 1976. When it was first circulated on the internet, it was known as the "Dancing Women Version":

The quality of the footage in the Thunderbird video is outstanding! I can only imagine that the audio is just as good. While I appreciate the Super 8 footage, the quality of both sound and visuals leave much to be desired. It's nice to know that there are some really clean copies out there.

Right,ya know!!My Copy Has Some sound where his copy doesnt & Visa Versa???Hey theyre like 10th Generation 80s VHS BOOTLEGS!But Mine has a few more scenes Like the Studio Footage & Glendale College where theyre in DRag,I Tin Solider Which All Seem to be off of the same One Reel from Ron Sobol, the way the scenes jump from place to place they blend together only the way a Super 8 Can!
