During his next tour!

"Ozzy told Rolling Stone he was excited to hit the road and was already thinking about potential set lists. "I've got such a fucking body of work to choose from now," he said. I'd like to do some different SABBATH songs, and some different Ozzy songs." Also under consideration are full performances of the "Blizzard" and "Diary" albums as a way to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

As I said months ago in a drunken state, he will bring the diary stage setup back one more go around!

Wow,if we were so lucky to see that Diary Stage!!I have a feeling that it has been destroted years ago,but you never know?I used to rehearse at a warehouse in Cleveland where the Owner had bought the Def Leppard Hysteria Stage. This was ten years ago now but all that remained were some Wooden Planks that had those patterns on them like the Floor of the stage had.Appearently he had sold the bulk of the stage as Scrap metal.Hopefully the Diary stage didnt suffer the same fate and its just been sitting in some Storage unit in Arkansas or something.

I don't know if I would like the Diary album performed in a dropped down 2 steps, C tuning. I would love to hear the songs live but not if they cannot be represented how they were on the albums. My opinion would be if you cannot sing them like on the album, then don't do them. Don't get me wrong, I love Ozzy, but the old gray mare just ain't what she used to be. No disrespect intended.

its obvious he will have to tune down to D or C as he has for the last 10+ years. Its like anything else though, after a a little bit you dont notice it as much anymore. I dont care how low he sings, he still sounds like Ozzy no matter what. He couldnt sing SATO after leaving the studio probably in 1981, so theres no doubt he couldnt have sang it in 1982, 86, 95, 04, 12, 15 or 2020. Now 1970 ya, he would belt it out probably :)

Anyway, it would not sound bad at all. And in my opinion this 18 month tour could be his last outing maybe. Finishing each concert with Diary of a Madman with that choir going would be unreal and an epic finish to each show.

As far as the Diary stage, i have no doubt in my mind he will bring it back. For whoever said it was probably trashed or does not exist anymore, that i would say is obvious. But it would not be hard at all to duplicate from scratch, I believe they probably kept the original blueprints also as it had to be designed and could just read off of that.

If he ends up doing the blizzard or diary thing I wonder if he would consider Rudy or Tommy for the gig?

Its funny that with this announcement to come out after just a week or two ago I either read/heard a sorta current interview w/Ozzy & the interviewer had asked Ozzy if he had ever considered doing a Complete album in concert & he said it was doubtful being that he has such a large catalog of songs to choose from
and Now a week or two later he announces that he may very well be doing BOO & Diary in there entirety.
As for the stage....we can prey but I think thats about as likely as having Bob & Lee on the Tour.
I dont see Ozzy asking Rudy or Tommy or even Zakk for that matter. If Ozzy was to do this it would definatly be w/Gus G. & his current band. They have a Very busy year ahead of them w/what is being talked of as Ozzys Largest Tour ever & the half dozen Ozzfest shows.
If Ozzy is to do that I would guess that it would be on the few Ozzfest shows rather than on his SoulSucka or whatever the album is called now,s Tour.

Can't see it happening really, especially not Diary.
The Blizzard album is easier to sing live, Ozzy could manage that no problem, he's been doing a lot of it for years, but Diary no way, he's never been comfortable doing much Diary stuff live, even back in '82 he only did 3 songs off the album, I know he did Diary of a Madman live in 2000 but only a few times.
I think he'd struggle big time, but I'd be happy to just hear Over the Mountain again live, brilliant concert opener.
