Does anyone out there know where I might find the wiring schematics for Randy's effects pedal board?

The numbers for the switches in the first diagram run from 2-9, so as follows:
2 - On/Off switch for Vox Wah (the actual switch was moved from the pedal).
3 - On/Off switch for MXR 10-Band EQ (added on, as the MXR EQ's did not have switches - use a true bypass circuit).
4 - On/Off switch for "external effects" (This is the bypass for the outboard effects, like the delay unit).
5 - On/Off switch for Master By-pass mode (the entire board - all the effects - could be removed from the signal path, providing a straight-to-the-amp signal, which also meant the effects could be held in "standby" mode. Basically, Randy could kick the board off, switch whatever effects needed to be switched without them effecting the signal, and then kick the board back in).
6 - On/Off switch for MXR Flanger
7 - On/Off switch for MXR Stereo Chorus
8 - On/Off switch for MXR Distortion Plus
9 - On/Off switch (bypass) for the echo unit (Korg or Roland)

What I don't get is how it was all constructed into one box. I mean, do they take the pedals circuitboards out and place them in the pedal board or what?

Yeah, that's what they did.

True Bypass Strips are what are used on concealed boards like that(and open). You can can get them in strips or singles, and space them out however you like. Randy had a huge board so the guy must have used single bypasses. Basically all they do is keep your original signal in tact so there is no tone suckage when the pedals are off. The old MXR's are notorious for there crappy bypasses and noise issues. With the bypass, with the pedal off you don't get any of that.

All your pedals are left in the ON position and you just loop it into the bypass which ends up controlling the ON/OFF.

After looking at the pics of Randy's board I would say the original pedals are definitely right under the top layer, you can see the screws holding them up to the surface. Theres one at the bottom and top of the Distorsion +, one on the left and right side of the chorus and flanger, probably two more on each behind the knobs, looks like 2 above the EQ also. He must have just knocked out the 3DPT switch and let it just hang or something along those lines which could have caused all the problems Randy had with it.

also if i got a true bypass strip how could i change the switches to what randy had that look like boss switches?

Something I just noticed on that picture of Randy's board, but is his board made from a gun case? There are two stickers on it that read Bulldog Cases, and I searched them on google, and it's a gun case site...
