Hmmmm ... I guess it's a double edge sword for Dakota , they need permission from the O's to use the music ...so in return the O's say " sure no problem but you must use the bastardized fake songs only or nothing at all if that's true what that website claims ???? :?

I see that it is tough for the Doc' but it doesn't seem right to use the altered versions of the songs period!

Ian 'period' ? :)

bloody hell old boy, speak like you are from Blighty with the Queen's fine English (that was said in my mock BBC 1940's news reporter voice :) )

I bet Peter and the film need this further negative publicity like a hole in the head!

Yes I was trying to become popular with a Transatlantic membership!!
This reminds me of chatting to my daughter and when she quieries my taste in music I always describe them as 'A popular beat combo of the 1980's etc!' she always gets really pissed off with me.

what I heard is not the reason, when Peter went to Australia to film Bob, not talked about per in their phone conversations. he was ambushed at the airport by a never seen before manager of Bobs that was all of a sudden demanding a bunch of money and other demands in order to meet Bob after he got to the airport and spending a ton of cash to ship all his film gear down there. From there it went down hill.. I am not taking any sides here I am just reporting what I was told.

I agree with the Cap' Matt , this doc really needs another thread in both forums like this like a hole in the head. These type of threads only seem to bring anger and controversy out and draw lines because of all the speculations and debates. I think it has hurt the moral of making the film.

 How the hell is this not a topic of MASS discussion? Bob's awesome but the news is a two sided sword... I'll start a new topic about it. BTW how do I sign up for the boycott? I couldn't find it.

I think most people are immune to any film news these days; good or bad.
Rightly or wrongly people just associate it with so much negativity! The plus side though is that I think the arguments have created lots of positivity (strangely enough) in the forums; in a Blitz spirit kind of way :) Both UR and RRTK are much better places! UR more vibrant and TK more relaxed and friendly!

Let the big wigs battle it out LMAO

Are you itching for a fight? I'm not immune to this! I'm riding an emotional rollercoaster! Didja like my joke about being a jerky dude who wants to fight? It reminds me of a movie about some "cowboys" from the USA who try to push around (exploit) all the hard-working folks in town. Bastardi's!
