Because it's beautiful, and it has a sleek design, and it's white... like the Concorde plane?

The profile of the Concorde jet is similar to the guitar in it's entirety.
The headstock is the nose, the neck is the fuselage and the body of the axe is the wing/tail section.
Randy was inspired when he flew home for the holidays on the Concorde out of Heathrow.

Sorry C Night, you were so close! But whoopiecat had the jist of it a little further along with some history. While the history, is close to the truth, it's not entirley accurate. But that will be in the book because it's a funny story. So if you really do want a picture (??????), PM me with an address. I'll even do away with the $4.99 autograph fee! That was fun. Maybe do more of these. What do you guys think?

While the Concorde guitar is modeled after the airplane Kelle Rhoads has said in an interview that you have to look at the guitar at a certain angle (2 o'clock) in order to really see the similarity. For the life of me I can't seem to locate the interview/lecture where he said it word for word. I thought it was in the lecture he delivered at a private high school a few months ago but still have not found it. I'll keep looking for it...

P.S. whoopiecat is essentially correct...
