Thanks, Tito...I never found out what happened there. I was on at 8:55, and stuck around til 9:40. I was actually gonna ask Bob if he had anything to say in regards to his experience with Dakota.
I didn't want to be the one to wreck a good mood and turn the chat sour...I'm only curious as to why Peter would refer to him in a negative light...Bob has always come off as a professional and a gentleman.
We'll see if they reschedule....

May have something to with them using the remasters of blizzard and diary in the doc. Bob said a month or so ago he would not allow his interviews to be shown if the remasters are used and not the originals. I think Peter would have been pissed about that.

Just popped over to RRUS, and someone left a post today claiming another Rhoads site shut the chat down from their end.
If this is true...what the fuck?
Like I posted over there...I just don't get any of this anymore. AT ALL!
Ever since it was announced nearly three years ago that filming had started on a documentery about the life of Randy Rhoads, things have just degenerated down to some disturbing displays of behavior.
Never in my life did I think that Randy's noteriety and talent would eventually spawn so much hate.
I believe Peter absolutely meant well when all of this began, but some folks wanted some of the limelight, it appears...for what? I don't know...to see their name in the credit-crawl in the end?
It's just become a seething mass of venom, mistrust and backstabbing.
A bummer and a fucking shame

Not sure what was posted (feel free to PM it to me), but the idea that one site would be able to do that to another is incredibly far-fetched. There isn't just a switch that one can flick when they want something to go wrong. Internet attacks (nowadays especially) often have to be orchestrated.

I will state now that UltimateRhoads.com had absolutely nothing to do with whatever went on. I don't know whether they were trying to point fingers at anyone in particular, but I really haven't got time to piss about with other peoples work right now... I can say that it is very unlikely that RR.tk had anything to do with it as well.

I'm not willing to go into it in any more detail, but if someone wants to call me on it, feel free to get in contact with me.

Skeeza is correct! The Site was not hacked at all and if that was the case I don't think that TK & UR would attempt such a bad thing. Besides, we have a pretty talented staff when it comes to issues like "Hacking" but server outage is just another issue altogether.

-The first time the server went down that host our website.
-The second time Bob had a Tsunami scare.
-This time the chat company that host the "chat software" we use had an issue.

3 strikes your out! just kidding. The chat software is flash and requires flash communication server and they dropped the ball. Flash is very hard to hack it would have to come from the server side and the company that we use is very reputable with no reported hacking issues.

We will coordinate another chat with Bob and many others, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience we will get better at this stuff I promise!

My post wasn't meant as a finger point...you'll have to excuse me for being gullible, I guess...I'm not all that tech-savvy and I have no idea what the hackers of the world are capable of.
After the business of what had happened to Kelly's memorabilia over the summer, I just assumed this was someone taking that one further.
Never once did I think UR, or TK for that matter, would do something like this.
The post stated 'a better Rhoads site' was responsible. No names were named. It sounds like someone has it in for Kelly, and after sleeping on it, it has a tinge of familiarity to it.
