Gaz i see you got no thanks over at TK. PCM posted your pics up, i don't know where he got them from. But its nice to be thanked instead of someone else gettin all the glory. I noticed the last one which i have not seen before. Very Cool and a great collection.. Cheers Gaz kudos

Yes, when you posted the HMH pics though I said I didn't care if you did, you mentioned my name in the header but I noticed hardly anyone else thanked me just you. It happens. A lot of the newer members that are posting there now may not know they originally came from him but would have been nice if he was mentioned in the header as well as you did.. I had it happen at Kelly's forum of some of my pics I have acquired that were posted in the gallery.. I know, it is quite frustrating.

Thanks

Dude, thanks for posting these pictures. I know we just absorb them without much comment but I am truly grateful for each one I see. It really gives me a better sense of what each gig was like. These pictures look like they were taken at my old Middle School auditorium. That feels surreal!

Yeah Tom i totaly agree and i can understand that alot of the pics are not owned out right by the people posting them up. But it always pays to mention the photographer and to give thanks when its due. These photos are quite rare and when they got posted up here for the first time they had a watermark on them. But people just copy & paste without asking if its OK.

I've just had to ask Alan Perry's permission, if it would be OK to use his photographs for Simon's documentary. It's a good job i did ask or i'd be looking at £25.00 per photo used.

Imagine seeing Randy in such a small place and so up close! Well, I guess you could have with Quiet Riot...but still! It does look like a school auditorium or something.

The photos are from the Hull City Hall 1980 i don't know if the gig sold out. But the crowd was mentioned in the review as 1400. Alot of the gigs on the UK Blizzard tour visited smaller venues but i think the atmosphere for Ozzy whipping up the crowd was WILD...I honestly thought the balcony at the Newcastle city hall gig was going to collapse the crowd went fecking mental when they did Paranoid...

Just got youre PM, thanks.
Its OK, I don't have a problem sharing my photo's, so long as people appreciate them and don't try to profit from them its all fine.
They are a great set of photo's so I enjoy it when loads of fans get to see these, loads of other people have shared their photos with me so who am I to "no way".
Share and share alike, that what I say, just don't take the piss and everythings good.
It'd be such a shame to keep 'em to myself afterall.

Shaun, alright mate, hows it going?
Yea'h youre right, the crowd was 1400, but the City Hall's capacity is 1800, so a few hundred short of a sell-out, and I can vaguely remember people still able to buy tickets on the night.
I remember queing up for ages to get our tickets as soon as they went on sale, we wanted to be as close to the front as possible and we managed
front row tickets.

It was mahem down the front as everyone rushed the stage as soon as Budgie came on, so I moved a few rows back and stood on the front row chairs, thats where the photo's where taken from.
