Years ago I was watching one of those VH1 specials. Forgot the title of it. You know, something like 100 best metal songs etc. I think it was 100 most weird moments in music? Anyways, anyone out there scene the 1981 MTV VeeJay Alan Hunter interview with Ozzy not coherent at all? With lots of other Randy-era Ozzy interviews like After Hours, Two on the Town, Bob Coburn etc, how come this interview has never appeared on any boot vhs or dvd?

Wonder why ???? KFJO radio(Northern California, Walnut Creek I believe) interviews Ozzy 1981, Ozzy plans to make a movie, called "Diary of a Madman". A Love story, when he falls in love with a Gynecologist mate.

Part !:

Part 2:

The best thing about these two interviews is when Ozzy says, " The Greatest guy. the best person I've ever had in my life is a guy called Randy Rhoads !" Probably the only shred, (pun intended), of truth that came out of Ozzy's lips at that time !

Reputation means a lot to Sharon ! That's why you most likely will never see that interview. Otherwise she'd sue ! And, is MTV going to step on Sharon's toes ?, with what MTV has made from the Osbournes ?, I DON'T THINK SO ! :fish:

Part 2 at 1:50 is really funny! 4 o'clock in the morning: "I have an incredible idea, wake up Randy!"
At 3:30: did he want to bite the head of Billy Graham? Probably because they forgot to film the DOTG show! :P

Too funny Patrick, or maybe the Gynecologist love mate, pinched the footage, while Ozzy and Sharon were getting loaded ????
But in all seriousness, most likely it was shot, can't believe Sharon hasn't got a copy. Unless Billy Graham had a tight hold on the footage shot, and it all went up in flames in May, 1985 ??? Maybe when Jack has completed Ozzy's film, some footage of DOTG will be included ? The only problem with that, is the years of S & O saying it doesn't exist ! What would that do to their credibility ? ? ? Wolfgang was to shrewd not to have those concerts shot ! Believe me now, and believe me later, I know what was being shot in those days ! Cheers  :fish:

Who knows!
If DOTG was filmed it most likely was filmed from distance. (remember that pic of the sound area in front of the stage)
But I put my money on the May 22nd, 1981 - Checkerdome, St. Louis show now!

I dont remember ever seeing/hearing that, there are a few fron 82 shortly after Randy died but I never saw this this,Nobody has a copy of it?? It is pretty cool that Randys award was on MTV because in "REALITY"
MTV went on the air in Aug of 1981 & randy died like only 6 months after that,& you have to keep in mind that MTV was still in its infantcy then and was untill like 83 when Thriller came out I know alot of you guys under 30 might not know this but MTV actually used to play Music the first 5 years.
Had Rndy lived he would have been on the cutting edge of Music Videos, shit we al know there were plans for a MTV concert to be filmed,be it 3-20-82 or MSG tht would have been unbelievable just think the SOTD
concert w/Randy,Ozzys vocals were re-recorded & are some his best IMHO,just a shame.
Sharon probibly would have had done a Video for one of the Diary songs I could only imagine how cool that would have been in 82 when the Lights burned the VideoTape & left trails in the picture,& crazy concept for
it would have been great,Any song on that could make for a great video for all of Randys work w/Ozzy was very powerful & visual.Easy to think of a video treatment to,escpecially w/Ozzys "Madman" status at the time.

its too bad Randy didnt get to see the "real Effect of their collaboration" as Ozzy was voted #1 Rock Act for 1982 even before Randy died,I have a half Dozen Hit Paraders w/Ozzy on the cover from just within the year Randy died!!!!! Actually in the 1982 Hit Parader year in music fall review Ozzy s #1 and the article was
written when Randy was still alive as those were made months ahead of time,it didnt even have an update about Randys death,I will post theese soon as I can get them scanned

YA,KNOW The onl time you can actually see Music on "Music TeleVision"
is from 4-6 A.M. I mean the majority of people are asleep for those 2 to 4
hours they "Might" play music,Not even dial MTV or TRL whatever they call it
isnt on anymore
Shit even VH1 hardly even plays music anymore how Sad.
