Who's A Member?

Now that the drama has subsided for now I was wondering how many ultimaterhoads.com members are members of RandyRhoads.us? The reason I ask is because I want to know what can I do there that doesn't open my bank account just to participate. I don't want to join something I would never be able to really enjoy. Break it down for me as I really do want to know what a "fan" can do on that site just by browsing on it.

I joined it , but it's extremely slow and boring there right now , perhaps that'll change as more and more new members join up .

I joined up a week or so a go. I have enjoyed listening to Randy playing the blues and reconnecting with some people I haven's spoke to in a while that are members. There are already 400 odd people as members. What is quite cool is you actually get you own page, a bit like a Myspace page that you can upload tracks onto a player. It is a little slow at the moment so I am not sure how it will evolve, but it is looking good.

There are no costs to members. That's apparent & stated from the beginning by Kelle Rhoads opening "welcome". There will be LOTS of new & exciting events coming! Kelle, & Kelly are very excited! Things have been slow since it is under new management & they are getting their "ducks in order". Kelly G. has had a few health issues also & he is recovering nicely. Thanks to UR for your kind words & support! There is room for everyone!

I would agree with the slooooowwww right now. With this forum and tk, the forum over there is not picking up very quickly!
Things are in transition there right now, it was slow here at first as well. What you will have access to is stuff Kelly G wants to share that you've not seen/heard elsewhere.
Also, once it's working smoothly, there is a chat feature so everyone can discuss things with text, audio and video, which can be cool.
I'd recommend checking it out.

Sonny, we were able to bring the trailer just before RR.us, but we haven't reuploaded it since we took it down.

I joined the first day it opened, then after i signed in and realized it was a pay site i never went back. After it was deemed free a couple weeks ago i went back, kinda sucks to tell you truth. It is pretty dead over there and forums are fugly.

Not really much different than this place OR tk in the first 12 months...

I'm pretty sure UR and TK were pretty quiet in the first year or so. While there are plenty of people on these two sites, not all of them will sign up to RR.us straight away.

I am a member there but I am a member here as well as a tk member so not sure if I fall into your demographic
I agree the sight is slow on general discussions but I think it's due to UR and Tk discussing about every topic you can think of.. anyways you don't have to pay anything now..

I will be re-joining after I pass my details on to check why I am excluded, I would have done this sooner if it were not for the fact that I am extremely busy right now and have been for the past few months.
Skezza (my friend Joe) was right when he said that we were slow for the first year, we were new and launched into a divided community so we had to learn, we had to change when it was right and in time people came to trust or enjoy UR based on merit.
I am sure that RR.US will prosper and without Steve they will prosper faster, to them I send my best wishes and thanks for providing another place to discover the work of Randy Rhoads.

To be sure, I didn't mean it as a slight UR or TK, but they were both slow in the beginning. The new site is slow because these two are here. In time it'll grow and prosper, but for now it's definitely slow.

I will give it a try for sure. That site looks cool.
Problem is time, it's already hard for me to keep up here....

I joined way back when it was announced, but that same week i went down to Kent and have since been robbed of regular internet service.
I appologies to anyone who has tried messaging me or adding me as a friend but i havent been around
I am of the understanding that some shit has been hitting someones fan in the last couple of months, and recieved several bizzare emails from the admin since joining, which i took no time to read, i have no idea whether or not i am still a member there or what the F goes down.
In any case i have no time to visit this place let alone another site, when i finnish working i will probably return to see if i am still a member.
I imagine the site was slow, but with love and patience...
