I remember someone mentioned these lessons about Randy's lessons with Robert LaFond in 1979 on another thread but I just can't seem to find it. Therefore, if you have the time, here they are for you to enjoy. These lessons are very detailed and are really insightful to how Randy taught his students to develop their own style. Sorry if the audio and video are slightly out of synch...

Hello, Robert LaFond here (a.k.a. RhoadsScholar)
Glad these got posted . I got pemission from GuitarWorld to host these but have had hosting prolems. I have a new internet provider and will be getting them out there on the RhoadsScholar.com website. In addition, I will be adding a whole lot more going into the detail of the book. Andy and GuitarWorld did a great job of helping me launch this project along with the support of Kelli Garni ... I had a lot of personal situations come up that have delayed this. I hope everyone who has bought the book on amazon or the ebook from the website have enjoyed it. I get pleasure hearing from each of you (good or bad). Quite a bit of the feedback is fro folks on this board. I makes me glad that we got this out in time for Randy' 50th Anniversary of his Birthday with the December ISSUE.
I am going to do one final version, just making some corrections and get started with the new videos. I also plan on working with Andy again as well as Jackson/Fender in 2010 .... YOu can always drop me an email at
rhoadsscholar@lafond.net
Wishing you all A Happy New Year
