You're going to need to provide me with more specific information beforehand.

I'm not going to call anyone about anything before you give me more information than you have.

I'm assuming you're speaking of the Peter Margolis project.

That was the entire back-and-forth exchange, up until yesterday.

Now fast-forward to yesterday evening. I figured since I never responded back, further, that I should make clear my wishes in regard to any (possible) participation on the project.

Since I haven't given permission to use my photos, I better not see them being used (and several were in the doc preview, I've seen).

Guranteed, your photos will NOT be in our film. I already made sure it was removed from our archive the last you sent me a horse shit email.....

There is no need to write to me again.

*****************************************************

So, I put it to you. Was there truly a "horse shit (sic) email" from me, somewhere? There are no "missing" or edited replies (besides any email addresses or phone numbers).

Thank you for your time.

No.... (imo)
You had some healthy concerns and it looks like they couldn't deal with that. :?
It's a bit sad to see such an attitude from some who are chosen and given permission and trusted to make a documentary about one of the finest rock guitarplayers......

Friendly tone. No,no attitude. The guy was asking you politely if they could use your pics in their film.No harm to you just beneficial to you in terms of exposure.
Why do people hate these guys so much? Its so childish. There are tons of photos they can use.You blew your opportunity to have your pictures showcased in a film because you wanted them to kiss your butt or whatever or you read all the flame threads.Real smart and unreal. Now your pics can collect more dust for another 30yrs,duh!They call it 'strategery'!!!

You don't read so well, do you.

The FIRST quote you listed, took place YESTERDAY.

My previous replies were where he stated this previous "horse shit (sic) email" was sent.

Try to follow along, chronologically.

LOL @ "I blew my opportunity because I wanted them to kiss my butt."

Just wow.

Just wow.
A photographer has every right to be unhappy at someone using their work without permission. That's actually stealing...taking something that belongs to someone else without asking first or paying for it.
Therefore he's got every right to dislike this guy.

You've really lost me, now.

Are you saying you were being sarcastic, above?

Because it doesn't come off that way - in your original reply.

You mean like what romeo turd did with the trailer?

Anyway, the margolis guy asked rrp politely if he he could could use some of his pics. Its not rocket science but rrp acted like he held the patent to nuclear fission.

oth, no disrespect intended when I say, this is a world where " You get what you pay for ! ", Sad to say, that is the reality of the situation, and the bottom line to all of this. RRP took the photos, therefore, he as anyone else in his position deserves information, credit, and respect, as to where and how his property is used. I would ask the same questions if I were in RRP's position. Just my one million cents. :fish:
