A nice collection but asking for $3400 as a starting price i don't think these will make a worthy auction. I'm not one to blow my own trumpet BBBBBUUUUUUURRRRRRRRPPPPP...!!!! LOL!! I've been collecting for about 20 years and i have seen nearly every item he's mentioned. You'd think he would be offering up a worthy collectible like a signature or some unseen photos. Original tour shirts, tickets, & programmes are items freely available to buy on ebay. I wouldn't even say they are rare these are items made in the 1000's +. People get this sense that if it has RR on it or involved in some way, shape, or form that its like finding the goose that lays them golden eggs, dream on....

Probably because some people do pay outrageous sums for RR stuff... I just think it's hilarious how people ask so much for 'collectibles' when the worldwide economy is so poor.

yea I agree it's really getting sad, how people now take advantage of being a Randy fan. I have paid some crazy amounts for photos but not in this range. Glad this auction has no new photos..I wouldn't bid that anyways.. I know right now there is an autograph originally from a member here that was on a UK show flyer that someone I wont mention who is reselling for a absurd amount also. sad..

Hi Tom I think you may be looking at this one ? these are genuine but at a very steep starting price. I seen a nice set sell for £171.00 which was nicely framed it was signed in my home town i was hoping to get it but it went well above my spending. Tom out of interest how many individual RR photos do you own ? If you don't mind me asking, it must be a mighty fine collection.

The price is one thing but If the condition of the items is mint like seller states then he has that ace up his slave.Condition is everything in collecting. You can have 2 same comics but they differ in value by 10,000$ because one is in fair and the other in excellent condition. Most ozzy tour shirts i see on ebay are pretty rough.I don't see unworn concert shirts for sale much. That is rare. The other stuff is pretty cool.As an ensemble it's a nice collection-if you have the cash. Some guy was selling a collection of cheap 45s and lp's and magazine articles for 20,000$ a few months ago. That was whack.

Those shirts can easily be copied, far too many people have picked up on this. Buying old stock baseball style jerseys and making Rock band tour shirts from buying an original and copying them. They are trying to sell these for like $200+. So if you have not done your homework and you like throwing your money about. You do end up getting ripped off big time. Ticket stubs are the same, people are mass producing them saying they are in mint condition. It is turning into a massive money making market selling Rock memorabilia. Forged autographs are the bad boys to look out for, ebay should stop selling them. I have listed genuine autographs on ebay and no one is interested. So as far as condition goes what do the forgers do make a mint copy then rough it up. I'm not saying everyone is bent on forging stuff etc. You do get genuine people who sell some cool stuff. Look at what happened with the RR Zeus amp everyone was led to believe it was a revamped copy made to look like his original. Now that it has been seen people are saying it is the reel deal. It boils my piss that people like Buzz are still trading on ebay and suckers are still happy to buy his crap.

The reason that you don't see unworn tour shirts from the Blizzard and Diary tours is because no one, and I mean NO ONE thought of them as 'collector's items', they were t-shirts!

eBay created a culture where people think everything is a collector's item. And they seem to be right, because people are crazy enough to spend outrageous amounts of money on just about everything. The world economy is down the drain because people spend money on all kinds of stuff rather than paying their bills. Not everyone, mind you, but a lot.

Personally, I wouldn't pay a dime for an RR autograph. Regardless of what anyone might say, unless you saw him sign it, you can't authenticate it - unless it comes from his mom, Kelly Garni or a student of his on a lesson plan. That's my personal belief on the subject.

Paul you have to have a good eye and be switched on as a collector. Most of us autograph /memorabilia collectors here, have a good knowledge of what to look out for. It's just the people who are suckered in, with large amounts of cash to spend. If you have a must have item and if the money is no option... Thats what alot of sellers have realised, selling items for high prices knowing someone will eventually buy it. Like the Zeus amp it could sell at a Rock memorabilia auction for serious money to a big RR fanatic. But the recession has just but a low on peoples limits of spending. The people with a steady income are still buying items for top dollar. But it is like any item, its a buyers market and if 2 people want that item and money is no object. Its crinkle in the bank ...
