Just curious,
Where are Randy's guitars now?
The Les Paul, Polka dot, Concorde, and his white Marshall amp?

i thought they were in Ohio.

not sure if it still is, but i think maybe his Concorde is in a college somewhere in California though.

his amps are hidden away, last seen by the technicians of Marshall for the tribute amp. as far as i know, the les paul hasn't been seen since Randy died. maybe it has been shown in the documentary though, but as far as i know it hasn't seen the light of day since.

Well, he might have the volume rolled back on his neck pickup and he used the selector as a kill switch as he frequently did on his Les Paul. See the end of Crazy Train from After Hours, as he clicks it off to silence the amps.

Then again, there's no telling who has screwed with that guitar in the time since he's passed. As I recall, there were employees that had it out and were playing with it when it was previously on display.

That photo was taking by Neil Zlozower and featured in a Guitar Player magazine in November 1982. I'm thinking this was outside of Delore's home. It later appeared in the Masters of Heavy Metal book edited by Jas Obrecht. It's strange how this guitar out of all the RR guitars has been kept under lock and key and has never made much press or been seen since. I know it was Randy's favourite guitar and think that's why Delores wouldn't want it to go missing or in the worse event being stolen.

i/ve asked mrs rhoads this question,she just said "bank vault" to me.

cool, have never seen a hi-res picture of the LP post-Randy before.
