You will enjoy them they are both very good quality shows and are above averidge considering the taping quality for the time (early 80's).

Where exactly was the palladium? Was it in NYC(Manhattan) or somewhere else. I feel like I heard somewhere that Studio 54 became the Palladium but I question that. My quick google search didn't find anything solid.

Its Manhattan and was the Paladium a long time before this was recorded, not sure if its still there now though.

No it's gone, wherever it was. I work in Manhattan, its probably another club now...maybe they made it into somethin else, but I'd like to know what street(s) it was on.

Well it seems that there was some truth (or maybe just logic) to my mis-information earlier. It ceratinly wasn't the Old Studio 54 (considering that it's acorss town and 40 blocks away) but it WAS opened by Steve Rubell who also co-owned 54. The Palladium closed around the same time Princess Di died...and it is now Dorms for NYU called "the Palladium Dorms" i believe. How crazy is it to think that somewhere in a Dorm room, there was once a stage where Mr. Rhoads (among countless others) performed.
