What was it about Randy that made you go.. WOW!

Sound?

Personality?

His guitars?

Technique?

Lifestyle?

Clothing sense?

Those two Mr. Crowley solos...HOLY CRAP!
I liked Randy before but that was my "wow!" moment.

his overwhelming ability as a musician.

i remeber first hearing his playing back then i couldn't play guitar or anything but he still got my attention as a special talent.

When i studied his music years later it knocked me out, his work was so perfectly crafted.

funny thing is ... I got introduced by Randy through Jake E Lee,
so he's really my first connection with all those classic Randy songs ;)

... and he did one helluva job playing them too

When I saw him in 1981 on the Blizzard Of Ozz tour. I was there to see Ozzy. I did not really pay attention to Randy up to that point. I was just into Ozzy until I saw the concert. Then I saw him play and I was just BLOWN AWAY!!!! And from that moment on I was into Randy More than Ozzy!!

When I listened to RR it taught me how to play drums in a better way. I have never had an experience like that from anyone who was not a drummer.
