Another Fake signature ?

Post by GUITARIDOL5682 »

I'm thinking this is yet another RR signature to be well avoided.I'm very curious about the description which mentions Rudy Sarzo & Randy sitting in on a 'caller' radio interview. Did they ever do such a thing ? i think this would of been mentioned in Rudy's book and i think someone would of had a taped copy of this ?..Any suggestions..

I doesn't look right to me. The "Rhoads" is what looks fishy to me.

I emailed Rudy Sarzo about this item and this is what he had to say..

I checked out the ebay item and I'm pretty sure it's the real deal. My autograph has evolved a lot
since then but I detect some of the flairs that I still have in my current signature.
I can't say I can recall that particular interview, specially since in the early day only Ozzy did
the radio interviews. But I do remember hanging out in Ft. Lauderdale a lot on that visit since we
played 2 nights there at the Sunrise Theater.
So at least it could be an authentic autograph given to a fan during our extended stay in Ft. Lauderdale.

As an owner of two fine RR autographs, I'm all for the appreciation of the market value of a Randy Rhoads autograph  But this person simply wants too much $$. They do look like they could be authentic (although sloppy). But at that price, they need to also include the "Pick of Destiny" :D
