Yeah, that's real, but the story about Randy going into the studio to record an alternate version... that's a new one! There is just a different bass track done by a guy named Gary VanDyke and a different vocal track. While it is a different version, everything Randy did is the same.
That was part of a batch printed up to sell at the three May 1980 Quiet Riot shows... but they never did sell them (or many of them). Someone put a lot of those up on ebay years ago... I remember Kevin had a box full of them. I never did find out if he (Kevin) sold them to the guy who had them on ebay or not.
