Yeah they are from a set of pieces called 'Etudes Simples' by Cuban composer Leo Brouwer.

I can't remember where I heard this but I was told Leo Brouwer was in the middle of wanting to take Legal action with Ozzy and co when Diary Of A Madman came to his attention but after the tragedy he let it go.

Leo is still alive now and one of my favourite composers up there with Vaugham Williams, John Dowland , Bach, Benjamin Britten, William Walton and Beethoven!

If you haven't already google Leo Brouwer 8) 8)

I had a very weird feeling when my guitar teacher played that song.. I was like OMG DIARY OF A MADMAN :lol:
