They are awesome but the golden one (the first one) is that a mic? did he used to sing backing vocals?

I heard the mic was just put there for aesthetic reasons and that Randy really couldn't sing at all. I heard they even turned the mic way down. If you notice, Randy never had a mic with Ozzy but Zakk does.
