I noticed that you took those digital images of that magic bass on 8/06/2007. That is fast work. Put down that cam and puter and enjoy that big phat warm fender bass guitar.zennman wrote:http://web.mac.com/zennman/iWeb/Site/Fe ... -Bass.html

Cool Bass Zenn - Saw that on eBay, and remember seeing some other pics from those days that may be from that same night? Randy loved the bass, he had bought Jan a bass (clear body style, cannot remember the make right now) at one point, and they would jam a little together. That bass is long gone now, she sold it to someone in NYC in the early 1980's. I'd love to have it now.
I do have a late 60's Takamine Classical accoustic that Randy played a few times, and gave my cousin lessons on - never actually thought that would make it "valuable," but...after seeing this auction, I could be wrong. I'd never sell it, though, I still play it on occasion and LOVE the sound.
Regards,
Gary
