In other Randy Rhoads news, it was yesterday announced that a new book, Randy Rhoads by Ross Halfin, is set to celebrate the life and legacy of the legendary Ozzy Osbourne guitarist, complete with an epilogue penned by Osbourne and Tom Morello.

That is great news and very cool. Glad that Randy is getting some recognition from his peers in the music community for the short but brilliant work he accomplished in just a few years. Excellent to hear this!

Long over due let's hope they spell his name correct. What category has he been nominated for...i did watch the announcement and the other dudes who got mention Gil Scott Heron, LL Cool J, The Go Go's and the Foo Fighters...surely if they can put people like these into RNR hall on votes alone..No one must of voted for Randy over the years. The Foo's are a good band but i feel like they are 'new' on the scene compared to people like Tina Turner a worthy winner.
