Pass The Torch - Simon Fielder

Post by siro_angel »

A poem i had written on the spot on RR.tk thought id share it here too :)

Pass The Torch

I will pass on the torch,
That holds the Rhoads' flame,
Through the darkness of days,
Through the stillness of tame,
I will pass on the light of his teaching,
To my future children I'll pass his wing,
I can hear the wind whispers his name,
Do you not hear the same?
His memory will live on,
His light forever shone,
His memory will never die,
The skies above are clear,
I can feel him near,
Can you?

Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.

Simon, have you attempted to sing that poem as lyrics over guitar chords yet? Years ago I wrote a short poem for Jimi Hendrix. Then, after a little inspiration time, I found a fitting guitar arraignment and a melody for the words. No matter what you do with your poem it does show much heart.
Thanks for sharing it here and over at the RR.tk site.

I aint tried thinking putting music to it cos i lack in that area of making music to words lol... even though i have attempted with Broken and Moonlight!

But still thank you :) I like it when people like what i put out cos it boosts my confidence which i also lack most times.
