Is that the page where Ozzy wrote his letter?
I don't see why not. Everyone else has stuff copied on to their myspace page, so I don't see what the difference would be.

hmmm. ok. I don't think you'd have a problem. It seems as tho a lot of people copy stuff and put it on their page. I guess if you don't claim it as your own, you'd be ok

I don't know ... you're still making part of a product
you don't own free to the public.

Everyone else does (as Sarab said) and it's not like you are going to make cash from the image.

I know, but still, whoever owns it loses money.

No one loses money from it, because all those pictures are readily available all over the 'net. Not to mention, you bought the CD, so they made money off you already...

Hi Mel
Does the CD notes give any mention of photographers credits on the CD booklet ?? .It should normaly state that the images cannot be used blah blah but if you find out who took the photo and give him credit. This way you are not using the image with out due praise to the original owner and photographer.I have asked the permission of nearly all the photographers who's photos are on this site. Some can be a bit arsey with you and give you bullshit but most of them are cool.If it is a Ross Halfin photo forget it!!.. Just think about using one by Alan Perry he's cool...

Yeah as i thought it does have photo credits to Paul Natkin Neal Preston, Ross Halfin, Mark Weiss and Neil Zlozower.I'm sure the pic in question is one by Ross Halfin back stage at the Southampton UK gig 1980.(Below)

Ross Halfin taking from the Guitar Legends magazine i think..?

Well I already posted it on my profile~didn't credit the photo tho.
My pic was a little different than the one above..it didn't show
that pic of Ozzy-just little pics of Ozzy's album/DVD releases
off to the side. This Tribute CD was released in 2002 & on the
front it says,"Additional new photos" so it may have different
pics than the original release from 1987.
