Hopefully more footage is eventually released. It would be great to see a Randy Rhoads Tribute DVD (or box set if they have enough) with some footage of him in concert.

Lynyrd Skynyrd "Day on the Green" 1977

Check out the camera positions...... Big question is: were those camera's there in 1981 as well.......?

I think it likely that this was filmed, I would be more surprised to have it proved that it wasn't, Although during the first few moments I wondered what Zakk was doing playing drums! :?

You know - I have heard stories of photos of the pre crash being out there and with the footage of the Texas sound check I am sure there is other stuff available, who has it who knows, but I check e-bay all the time and see photos of Randy from fans off stage, items will turn up when they turn up.

Wouldn't stuff filmed by Motorhead's crew be 'amateur shot'? I doubt there was any professionally filmed stuff done because Ozzy wasn't much of a name yet.

We need to find someone with access to Bill Grahams Archives I am pretty sure he Promoted and Filmed all the day on the greens!! To me that would be the place to look! People look to these archives for rare Allmans,Who,Skynyrd.ect. but I think the Ozzy footage is buried in there somewhere..

That's why he was billed as "The Former Lead Singer of Black Sabbath"... Because the name Ozzy didn't mean what it does today.

Agree with you 100% Whoopie!

Think also about this: 1980..... Ozzy's first tour on his own..... And nobody came on the idea to document that?
Oke maybe not full PRO shot, but lets say one of the crew with a super8 to registrate one or more of those concerts. Even in those days it was not that hard to do right?

To me one must be very naive to think there is no more stuff out there.
Of course there is!

btw: somebody knows who filmed this?: AC/DC, DOTG 1979
