Site of the plane crash. Leesburg, Florida.
Has anyone on the forum actually been to the place where the tragic plane crash happened. I think it was called Flying Baron Estates, in Leesburg, Florida. I was wondering if it still an airfield and if there was any memorial, plaque or at least something to remind people of the tragic events of that day in March 1982.

Yes, it's still there and yes it is still an airport.
I doubt that there is any reference to Randy there. Most airports don't want reminders of plane crashes. There have been other crashes there as well:

Been there a couple of years ago. (in 2000)
It's still an (private) airfield and when I was there I couldn't discover any memorial or plaque.
Been also to the other (public) airport in Leesburg and talked with some pilots there about the crash. Lots of people working there still remember the crash and couldn't believe it was already that long ago.
