Long ago I heard rumors that this show was going to be released by the Japanese in 2007.
Someone can shed more light on this?

I have not heard anything about it but it would be cool!!

I have a dvd with 5 song's/vid's that are killer quality.

How many were there from that taping ?

The runned twice through the same 4 songs. So it's very possible each song was fillmed twice!

There were a couple of cameras there filming from different angles.
If all that stuff is still out there they could make a nice movie like they did with Jimmy's Woodstock performance, the original footage + another film from the same performance but from a different angle(s). Maybe they can even do that twice for every song!

Man, there has to be a lot of stuff out there really, but only with the "After Hours" and those '82 news footage they could make an incredible documentary! Unfortunately there is a lack of motivation to do something really worthful.

25 Years ago, the landmark "After Hours" performance took place. Obviously, we wish the video transfer rate were higher and it contained LPCM audio....that being said, here it is, as pristine a copy currently in circulation.
The ''After Hours'' on 'Six String God' is out of synch, this source is not. The 'extras' on here are excellent, especially the Letterman appearance only 3 days after Randy's tragic death...RIP Randy
This is the one i have and believe me.... this KIK'S @$$ on the 54" surround system 8)

I just recently got cableguyxx's dvd, and it is very good, as well as barkatozz's. I'm very pleased with the quality.

I have both (Cableguys and Bark's) as well and they are great viewing although I have to say right now that I get very bored with watching music video. I love watching the sheer power and inteligence that Randy imparted in his playing 8) , so I do enjoy putting these DVD's on from time to time. :D
