Question about bootlegs

Post by 2night2night »

I realize that I'm about 10 years late to the party, but I ran across a webpage that had several other bootlegs than the ones listed on this site and other sites.http://www.oocities.org/sunsetstrip/sta ... 4/ozzy.htm Is this guy legit or does he have some mislabled shows? I always hold out hope that newly discovered Randy Rhoads shows exist. He claims to have 4 shows from March 82', 1 show is from Atlanta on March 17,1982.It's not a website, but it does have an email address at he bottom.

I didn't know if it had already been discussed since his webpage was so old. These shows would be interesting to listen to, but I did notice that all the shows were graded VG - EX-, which caused me to have some doubts.

I've been going through tape trading sites the past few weeks. May be our best bet in finding new or better quality boots.

I would look also,if I knew where to look. It seems kinda secretive.

Here's some that I look through:

http://www.thetradersden.org/

http://www.guitars101.com/forums/tags/o ... ourne.html

Some will also be just personal web pages people have set up for them.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. On the guitars101 site ,the boot labeled as Harrisburg Penn.4-23-81,is the same as Springfield ,Mass 5-4-81 and the sound quality of the show ,in my opinion,is not as good as the Springfield show listed on this site. The site does have a show labeled as Glasgo Scotland 9-12-80.
