I'd pay $1,500 for a front row gen admission ticket to see that. I could see it happening too if Oz would just leave Sharon. I was so disappointed when they got back together. I think Oz would get 10 years younger just by having her out of his life and probbaly get Zakk back too. I suspect Sharon had something to do with Zakk not making records with Ozzy anymore like he used to

And if Zakks not available, then maybe Doug Aldrich.
I'd pay to see that.

Well when Black Sabbath do decide to call it a day..The End tour with no sign of an end ??. I think $haron will have to think of her next get rich quick scheme. Forget about Zakk being invited back to the band he was too much of a temptation for Ozzy to hit the bottle again. But looking at the 'new improved' synched Ozzy vocals he could probably sing anything now. So you'd be looking at Ozzy does the decades and sings his way through the back catalogue. Or doing a requests tour when the fans hit him with their favourite tunes. It'll not be long before Ozzy slips off to the great gig in the sky. I just hope he bows out with some style and doesn't come back for another reunion or come back tour FFS.

I thought Zakk had quit drinking because of health reasons?

He did, based on his Facebook page he's in quite good shape.

Yeah i know Zakk has calmed down his drinking antics. I was basically saying i don't think the Ozzy camp would invite Zakk back into the fold of playing guitar. Not many guitarists come through the revolving door for a second time Ozzy will just bring in the next guitar prodigy to blow you away.

Oh, of course they wouldn't. They want to keep Ozzy fresh for new audiences by bringing in young, new guitarists who have something new to show off. Can't say I blame them though. I like Zakk, he's quite talented when he wants to be, but the last couple albums he did with Ozzy were (in my opinion, of course) quite stale. Even the hits Ozzy had off the last couple albums with Zakk felt like generic stuff.

Ozzy's new stuff with Gus G hasn't really taken me either though. Love Ozzy, but the quality of his music just doesn't seem to be there anymore.

Though, maybe that's because he doesn't have Bob Daisley helping him out.

Thought Black Rain was his weakest album, dont rate it at all, but Scream was pretty good I thought, a majorimprovement, and Diggin' Me Down is one of my favourite Ozzy songs ofall time, brilliant

Full disclosure here, I haven't heard every song from Scream, but from what I have heard, it didn't "do anything" for me. Better than Black Rain, for sure, but still not as impressive as Ozzy's older stuff.

I had given up on ozzy but until the latest sabbath album. He apparently worked on improving his voice a few years ago I was reading and I think it worked at least enough for that album. Not sure if he kept it up.

13 is a great album and just shows that ozzy still has it when he has a good band behind him. His new stuff is just lifeless to me. Gus G is just just all flash and no feeling, just talkative flat sounding to me. Riffs are week and solos are technical but not memorable.

Gus G said he hasn't heard anything from ozzy as of a few weeks ago I saw in an interview. As far as he knows he expects to be part of the next album hopefully. Ozzy needs to go out with a bang and I think he should bring back Zakk or Jake, or even both to play their respective songs. As of 2-3 years ago ozzy was saying he will go on forever making multiple new solo albums. But over the last year his tone seems to have changed. I believe he said he was going to do a new album and then only do a couple dozen dates for a tour. He seems to be tiring out which is the expected. He is no longer saying I am going to do this forever until I croak

Would rather see him play with Jake again.

Literally never happening.

Sad to say, but Ozzy has lost his appeal with me. Maybe I've out grown him or maybe "his" music isn't what turns my screw. Just maybe I see him as only a puppet. Like
I said...sad to say.

Still has the most unique voice ever I say. His trademark sound is still there but not as powerful as it used to be.

It's thinned a lot since his Sabbath days.
