Im really, really, REALLY hoping that it does indeed have the spotlight solo on it. That, and Steal Away. I badly want to see Randy rocking out on those. But the spotlight solo will be the ultimate, Ive always, always wanted to SEE him play it.

The clips that were previewed at the memorial on Saturday were for Crazy Train, Crowley, No Bone and Steal Away

At the Ozzy site it says shipping is FREE....

Wow, Im shocked at NBM. That would be awesome! Always felt it was such an under-rated tune, every time I hear it live it sounds like Randy is just having a blast playing it, what a fun tune.

Steal Away The Night would be KILLER to get to watch, it really shows off Randy's skill, IMO. I remember someone (I think it was Kerslake) making a comment about how Randy was like a human metronome, I think steal away is such a great example, what a kickass riff, but it goes NUTS on the verses, it isnt complicated but the technique required to play it is pretty flipped out.

I didnt know what songs were previewed...thank you for that heads up :D

True, but sometimes companies charge a shipping & handling fee... "handling" involving getting it from the stock room and prepping it for shipping and whatever I suppose.

US Version $149.99 = £91.50 ? so one works out cheaper then the other.

http://www.myplaydirect.com/ozzy-osbour ... nouncement
The point i was making was its not coming from the uk. The price is for an import from the usa, it clearly says that on the screen capture pic i put up. its says ships ups world wide form the U.S.

PLus when it arrives to the uk you'll have to pay import tax on it as well, believe me i order regularly from the states and very rarely get away without paying tax on it.

What im saying is until amazon.co.uk or play.com etc start to advertise it we wont know whats coming.

Theres no official release date yet for the uk, may 31st as far as im aware is usa only.

Hmmm... Those songs weren't played back to back. Anyone find that odd?

Maybe there is more than that!

There's definitely more than that because there's supposed to be 30 minutes worth, and that's only about 20 minutes. It was just a sneak peek though.

For those of you that have preordered, did they charge your card already or put a hold on it?

My card was charged, but I used PayPal, so maybe it's different when you pay directly with your card.

well, you already have an idea of Randy playing the spotlight solo by watching the Quiet Riot DVD
