"For Fact's Sake!" isn't a book about Randy Rhoads. It's about an entire career, of course it includes Bob's time with Ozzy and Randy, to leave that out would be very bizzare, but, as interested as I am to read about that, I'm just as interested to read about his time with Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Gary Moore etc, if he was releasing a book only about Randy, I would agree with you, but thats not the case. Would I read the book if it didn't include Randy, of course, my interest in music goes way beyond and before Randy and Ozzy. I was aware of who Bob Daisley was way before 1980.shred1 wrote:He is trying to release Volume 1 right now!

How do you KNOW all this stuff?
Re: burying the hatchet
Bob's said numerous times that the book deals with him starting out in Sydney as a youngster, and goes on to cover everyone he's worked with since, including, of course, Ozzy and Randy.shred1 wrote:How do you KNOW all this stuff?
Re: burying the hatchet
the f-in Osbournes are the ones who should show some gratitude. I watched the God Bless Ozzy.. movie and yep...it was some of the story...could have been SOOOOOOO much better. They have all the money in the world and more, show a little *^%)# respect and share it with the people who got you there.
Didn't they just spend like 100K or somethng on a puppy? Thats selfish excess. Bob's so much bigger of a person and a much cooler guy than Ozzy could ever be.
The movied was sorta interesting though...i'd probably give it a 5.5/10

I'd give it 5/10, a half way there mark for half a story. I don't think they should have to share their money with anyone. BUT....at least show some respect to Randy's former friends and band mates, and include them in remembering Randy.halo8th wrote:the f-in Osbournes are the ones who should show some gratitude. Re: burying the hatchet
haven't seen it, but with a title like 'God bless Ozzy', surely it's gonna focus on Ozzy?rokket wrote:I'd give it 5/10, a half way there mark for half a story. it's not like there is any movie about Randy Rhoads around
if you don't count the documentary that everyone and their grandmother put their faith into.
look what happened with that.
